A bed and breakfast (or B&B) is a small scale accommodation establishment that offers overnight accommodation and breakfast, but usually does not offer other meals. Typically, bed and breakfasts are private homes with fewer than 6 bedrooms available for commercial use. In Niagara-on-the-Lake the maximum allowed in 3; between 3 and 6 rooms for commercial  use is considered a Country Inn.  In the other regions in Niagara the maximum number of rooms is determined by the size of the house and amount of parking to a maximum to 6.
